With zero grazing system in Rwanda, skills in forage production and
storage can improve livestock production. Through R-YES project, rural
youth undergo experiential learning for three months in forage and
fodder production at EAV Kabutare and selected agribusiness companies.
Upon completion of the technical training in forage production and
marketing, youth can manage forage production and pasture and
conserve fodder.
