Meat processing (21)

To maintain hygiene and safety of meat consumed on the market, rural
youth through R-YES project undergo experiential learning for three
months in meat processing at the Integrated Polytechnic Regional College
(IPRC) Musanze and selected agribusiness companies. 

Upon completion of the technical training in meat processing, youth can handle and slaughter an animal, butcher meat, apply hygiene and food safety and make different meat products such as ham, sausages, meat balls, meat powder, and meat loaf.
