We are building technical and entrepreneurial skills of rural
youth in poultry farming. Through R-YES project, rural youth
undergo experiential learning for three months in poultry farming
at the Integrated Polytechnic Regional College (IPRC) Gishari and
selected agribusiness companies/farms.
Upon completion of the technical training in poultry farming, youth can
rear poultry, maintain safety and hygiene of poultry production sheds,
implement feeding plans for intensive production, prevent poultry
diseases, manage poultry hatchery, and perform poultry slaughtering.
