KWIIP-2 Call for Irrigation, Mechanization & Post-Harvest Suppliers/Contractors

Title: Call for Expression of Interested Suppliers and Contractors of Irrigation Technologies, farm mechanization Equipment, Post harvest handling system, under Kayonza Irrigation and Integrated Watershed Management Project KWIIP-2.

Background information.

Kilimo Trust Rwanda (KTR) is Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) working on agriculture and agribusiness that specializes in the design and implementation of sustainable agribusiness solutions in Rwanda and across East Africa. Kilimo Trust has worked collaboratively with agricultural value chain actors to co-develop interventions that enhance farm productivity, improve postharvest management, expand access to finance and appropriate technologies.  

Kilimo Trust Rwanda (KTR) is leading the implementation of Kayonza Irrigation and Integrated Watershed Management Project (KIIWP-2), with an aim to contribute to poverty reduction and improve food security and incomes to rural households, with funding from the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD).

 Kilimo Trust Rwanda is hereby calling suppliers and contractors from suitable companies to supply equipment and Construction services in line with the forementioned project.  

Bidders Interested Suppliers and Contractors are to submit the following

1. Call Expression of interest letter addressed to Team Leader of Kilimo Trust Rwanda.
2. Company registration certificate.
3. Rwanda Revenue Authority (RRA) Tax Clearance Certificate.
4. Rwanda Social Security Board (RSSB) Clearance Certificate.
5. At least 3 certificates of completion and 2 recent contracts of similar goods and services in the last five years.

Submission and Deadline 

All required Bid documents must be written in English and submitted electronically in on this platform not later than Friday 23/05/2026 at 23:59 Rwandan Time.
